As a native of the city and a pretty strong fan of the game, Mr. Herron's book is a light and cheerful tour of professional baseball in the Duke City. Covering key dates, teams, and even major league stars who made their way to play in Albuquerque, the book is a great little historical guide, full of facts and photos, that every baseball loving New Mexican would enjoy.
